Building A Grill For 25

For a work outing this week we rented a grove at a forest preserve park near my client. There weren't any grills, just a pavillion with a neglected fireplace. Here's how $20 at home depot can turn a forest preserve fire pavillion into 1,000 square inches of grilling surface.

The fireplace when I arrived. I had to shovel out maybe 3 years worth of ash on the hearth to clear out a space for the grill and charcoal.

The grill. 12 $0.39 bricks, two half cinder blocks and 3 replacement grill parts from the home depot.

The results. Even temperature (hot!) and a great grilling surface. Excellent for around $20
